Spiralite

Spiralite is a mineral wool board system for the protection of structural steel beams and columns.

Spiralite has been extensively installed in commercial buildings, factories, warehouses, airport terminals, student accommodation etc. throughout the UK and abroad.

Spiralite is a superior, semi-rigid, stone wool board system providing fire ratings up to two hours.  Its high density of 200kgm3 makes the boards easy to handle on site. The boards are secured by dry-fix spiral screws that ensure the integrity of the installed system.

The boards are easily cut to size on site using a hand saw or knife.  Alternately we provide customers with an off-site cutting service should site conditions or programme make this a more convenient option

Spiralite board thicknesses vary according to the fire rating and the steel sizes.  Our technical support advises on design, board thickness and screw length to ensure the installation is correct.

Spiralite has been independently tested and assessed by BRE to British standards in accordance with the 5th edition of the ASFP Yellow Book.
