Protec Interiors contacted Cryotherm regarding a system to fire protect the structural steel of an external balcony for an apartment block.

Cryotherm was chosen to provide two-hour fire protection, with a decorative finish, to the lift shaft’s steel frame. The project included pre and post-sales site surveys, technical advice, fabrication of casings and support framework and the installation.

Cryotherm’s pre-fabricated Rockliner system was the ideal choice as they are ready to be installed immediately on site; therefore reducing installation time.

Firesafe Installations Ltd had to find a solution to re instate the fire protection to external columns that had previously been poorly fire protected with intumescent paint. An attractive finish for the entrance was required for the recently refurbished, modern offices in Manchester.
